Years after the show said goodbye to fans in 2014, fans suddenly started debating which song on the series is the best. Reviving an old thread on Redditt, fans of the Charlie Hunnam-led series jumped under the post, adding their favorite songs to appear on the show. “It seems like, after every episode, there’s a new thread about ‘Man that song was awesome!’” the original post said.
Fans relived some of their favorite moments throughout the series’ four-season run. As one user created a list of their top 3 choices, they brought up the song “Make it Rain,” saying, “So much going on in this montage (Jax just killed Gemma, the Chinese getting shot to pieces, Nero lamenting the chaos) but ultimately what made it was the Wendy-Jax scene,” they said. “Maybe one of the best scenes in the entire show to me, with Gemma and Unser’s deaths looming over the whole thing, Jax and Wendy finally reconnect but for unfortunate reasons.”

It’s unknown what sparked the new conversation, but without a spin-off in the works anymore, the music and the old episodes are all fans have. It’s clear music played a huge role on the FX show as it was used to punctuate some of the show’s intimate, sad, and active scenes.
