The new Munsters series will gain inspiration from the original, but the half-hour single-camera sitcom is making one major change to the classic family โNBC is taking The Munsters to New York.
This new version is set to place the characters in modern day, where they will struggle to fit in in hipster Brooklyn. The original series was set in the California suburbs.
