Sanchez was transporting her sister, Jacqueline Sanchez, and another 14-year-old girl who was badly injured when she lost control of her car and drove across lanes and overturned in a field, ejecting Jacqueline and the other girl.
The California Highway Patrol report states that the two girls were sitting in the backseat and were not wearing seatbelts.
Video allegedly recorded by the 18-year-old shows her singing to the radio while driving, with the footage going blurry when the car crashes. The camera then pans to Jacqueline’s body as Sanchez speaks to the camera.
