Independence Day didn’t go as planned for Toby Keith‘s daughter, Krystal.
The singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share a pair of scary photos after being involved in a severe car accident.

“Our 4th turned pretty horrific. Hensley, Drew and I were on the way to watch fireworks on the 4th. A drunk driver almost took the lives of my entire family. We all survived the wreck but it’s gonna take some time to heal,” she wrote.

“Keep us in your prayers. Hug your babies and spouses tight. DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE,” she added.
Krystal is Keith’s second daughter. She’s a mother to daughter Hensley, born in October 2015, with her husband, Andrew Sandubrae.
