When we think of lace, two things come to mind: wedding gowns and Madonna - and not Brit-Brit emulating Madonna, legit 1980s Madonna.

At New York Fashion Week: The Shows, lace was all over the Givenchy runway - face masks not excluded. At the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, Camilla Alves and Taraji P. Henson donned floor-length lace gowns, continuing our love for lace. while this week at London Fashion Week, Burberry showcased their collection of feminine lace offset by edgy leather details.

Do we (truth or) dare integrate lace into our wardrobe this season? Embrace it, Womanistas, no need for Tinder when you have romantic lace in your fashion files.
