Before the beginning of every month, Netflix drops it’s list of new TV shows and seasons that will be hitting and there are a handful of really great ones about to launch on the streaming service.
If coming-of-age tales are a big interest for you, like Freaks & Geeks or Awkward, then you’ll probably want to check out Atypical, which follows the average 18-year-old, Sam (Keir Gilchrist), who happens to be on the autistic spectrum.

But he doesn’t let his hindrances hold him back. Similarly to the rest of his peers, he craves love and independence on the messy journey known as adolescence. Although Sam’s journey is one full of emotion, his family and friends embark on their own paths of self-discovery that doesn’t seem so normal.

Once Upon A Time – Season 6

As it was previously announced, Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), and Jared S. Gilmore (Henry Mills) will not be returning for the next season on OUAT.
It’s been reported that the next season will see the show move in a new direction and the story will focus on the characters of Regina (Lana Parrilla), Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle), and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue).
Make sure you catch up with are the original charactersย in season six when it drops on Netflixย this month before season seven debuts this fall and changes everything.
Marvel’s The Defenders

If you’ve been following the other Marvel/Netflix series (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist) you have to make sure to watch The Defenders.
This series brings the four unassuming and reluctant heroes together to face off against one main threat.
Currently, the buzz around The Defenders is very promising so queue this up when it lands on Netflix.
Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later

The Good Place – Season 1

The Good Place is not like any other sitcom you’ve ever seen. The storyline ventures into territory and includes twists that no traditionalย sitcom could ever spend time cultivating.
It’s described as follows:
“When a tractor-trailer carrying erectile dysfunction products strikes and kills Eleanor Shellstrop, she’s surprised to find herself in the “good” area of the afterlife. She quickly realizes she has been mistaken for someone else when her wise, newfound mentor tells her she earned her place by helping get innocent people off death row.
“She decides that she wants to shed her old foul-mouthed and hard-drinking ways and find a way to embrace the good person within โ at least when she isn’t considering finding a way to return to her mundane existence back on Earth.”

Disjointed – Season 1, Part 1

If you’re a fan of shows likeย The Big Bang Theory,ย Two-and-a-Half Men, andย Mom, then you’ll certainly want to check out Disjointed, as it’s from iconic TV creator Chuck Lorre, who was responsible for the other aforementioned shows.
Kathy Bates headlines the workplace sitcom as Ruth Whitefeather Feldman, an owner of a weed dispensary in Los Angeles. Regarded as a longtime champion for the legalization of marijuana, opening her own shop is the cherry on top as the series rounds out with three “budtenders,” Ruth’s son, and the dispensary’s depressed security guard.ย And of course, they’re always high and getting into a plethora of problems.
Disjointed – Season 1, Part 1 lands on Netflix later this month. Twentyย episodes have been orderedย for the first season, but the there is no word yet on when the episodes comprisingย part two will drop.
