The Youtubers over at the Make Something channel posted a video showing why you should never stand behind a tablesaw. The short clip was filmed at KenCraft Company Inc. in Ohio where Ken Spitulski shows the real power of one of the powerful tool.
The video starts out with the camerman showing a tablesaw set up around 20 feet away from the nearest wall. The man approaches the wall where a large, wooden board is sticking out after it was shot out from the tablesaw.

Luckily for Ken Spitulski, when the board was launched from the tablesaw, he was standing at the side of the machine. The board was momentarily stuck in the blade, and when Spitulski tried to get it out, “it was gone in a flash.”
“It went into the wall 8 inches before it hit the steel siding,” Ken Spitulski from Ken Craft Inc. stated.
Check out the video above to see how this plank was lodged into the wall with the sheer power of a tablesaw.
Next time you’re working with your power tools, now you know why you should NEVER stand in front of the tablesaw!
