Usain Bolt has been having an Olympic run like no other athlete. He can’t stop winning. But for the 4×100 relay, he can also thank his teammates who helped propel Jamaica across the finish line for the win.
In classic Bolt fashion, he jokingly told his teammates he’d “beat them up” if they didn’t help him obtain his career goal of having nine gold medals (let that sink in for a bit).

Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade did an amazing job of giving Bolt a solid starting point for the final leg. And as Bolt started, Jamaica could already see victory. Bolt capitalized on an already impressive team effort of 37.27 seconds and was beyond excited after snagging that ninth gold medal:
I am proud of myself and I have to say thanks to the guys. The pressure is real. I look at it as accomplishment. I live for these moments, it is beautiful and I came through. I’ll go home, stay up late tonight talking and having fun. It is not real. It is a brilliant feeling. I am the greatest.
Bolt also tweeted out love to his fans:
My fans you guys never doubted me a min and for that I belong to you guys forever #blessed pic.twitter.com/j5xcwI0wXf

It’s been an amazing run so far for Bolt and we can’t wait to see more of him over the coming years.
