The screenplay was written by Ehren Kruger, who has penned the last three Transformers films. According to Variety’s sources, “Disney execs are very pleased with the script and wanted to quickly land an A-list director.”
For those of you not familiar, Dumbo is about a cute, little elephant that is treated cruelly by others because he happens to have enormous ears. His only friend is a mouse named Timothy. Eventually, Dumbo learns to except his unusually large ears and even figures out that they allow him to fly!
