‘Fast and Furious’ Star Tyrese Goes After Promiscuous Women With Sexist Remarks, Twitter Erupts

No matter how much you might like a celebrity, that doesn’t mean that their public persona matches their personal identity. Unfortunately, this sometimes results in celebrities sharing their personal opinions, which you might not always agree with. Such is the case with star of the Fast and the Furious franchise, who let loose some misogynist remarks while speaking about promiscuous women.

It’s tough to say exactly what his point was supposed to be, but he addresses “sluts,” “skeezers,” “hoes,” and “tramps” about their sexual proclivities. He makes a point to say there are other types of single women, which he describes as “single women,” for holding out for the right one, which will come to them with the help of God. He ends the clip by insinuating the physical impact of regularly engaging in promiscuous sex, because apparently, Tyrese is also a biologist.

Understandably, there was a backlash to his comments, with a variety of approaches. Tyrese recently got married in a secret ceremony, so it’s also unclear why he has devoted so much time to thinking about what women do with their time. He also doesn’t chastise men in the interview for engaging in similar behavior, which many pointed out was a double standard.
