The Dancing with the Stars season premiere did not go as planned for Ryan Lochte.
Two men stormed the stage after his performance to protest the Olympic swimmer’s participation on the show, EW reports.

There were six people in total involved in the protest. The two men wore t-shirts with Lochte’s name on it crossed out while there were four women wearing the same shirt protesting from the audience.
“Excuse me, excuse me,” said judge Carrie Anne Inaba as the commotion began.
Lochte was stunned and stood in silence with his partner Cheryl Burke while Tom Bergeron took it to break.
