Joey Jordison is totally open to the idea of a Slipknot band reunion. He has recently been very open about his battle with transverse myelitis, a form of multiple sclerosis, that has impacted his nervous system and kept him from drumming with the band.

Jordison shed light on his ailments with Metal Hammer Gods while accepting the "Golden God" award. He mentioned that during his last days with Slipknot that he literally had to be carried on to the stage.

Metal Hammer had an in depth conversation with Jordison when he mentioned that he would love to meet with his former bandmates about a potential reunion. He stated, "Honestly, I'm not trying to be dramatic, but if that was brought up, what I'd want to do would be to get together. I'd want to see them, just hug it out, and feel that energy that we had when we were f****** young and hungry and all that s***. We'd hug and talk and do s*** like we used to. We used to sit up all night long planning this s*** and what we wanted to do. So that's how I want to do it. It'd have to be in person. If it happened, that would be f****** awesome, but only time will tell."

Jordison also mentioned having listened to Slipknot's album .5 The Gray Chapter, and felt that it was "great" and believed that it was important for Slipknot to carry on creating music for their fans.

In regards to a potential reunion with the band, the decision is entirely up to the current Slipknot band members. Jordison claimed that he never quit the band but rather he was pushed out. He also does not believe that the band will go back on their original decision to get rid of him.

In the meantime, check out Jordison with his current bands Vimic and Sinsaenum.
