Khalifa took the joke route and flooded Twitter with hilarious pics and comments letting fans and followers know they shouldn't believe every rumor that comes across their feed.
First, Khalifa referenced an episode of the FX comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in which Frank Reynolds (Danny DeVito) pretends to have AIDS just to skip a pool line.
She captioned the pic collage:
"Jokes on y'all, this is gonna be me next time the beer line is too long at a hockey game."

After the tweet generated some perplexing replies, the former adult film star followed it up with another popular reference to another hit TV series.
This time however, Khalifa channeled some South Park.
It was a simple tweet and read, "I'm not just sure. I'm HIV positive."

But of course, that wasn't the end for Khalifa.
Mia then posted a picture of a text she had going with a friend about the gossip, in which the friend congratulated Mia on her superb Twitter joking. Then gave her the hashtag #IStandWithMia.
She then took it a step further and found a way to get paid from the nonsense. She posted a picture of her store and new shirt that joked about the tweet of her being HIV positive and added the caption, "Y'all are making me trend worldwide... for free... Here's a link to my store, we ship internationally."
