At a Walmart in West Virginia on Friday afternoon, two dogs hijacked their owner's car and drove it into the building.

According to WSAZ-TV in Huntington, an employee watched as a car rolled out of its parking space and move slowly toward her. The employee thought there were some pranksters in the car joking with her, but then she realized there was a dog in the driver's seat of the vehicle.

The car moved slowly down the parking lot until it eventually crashed into the Walmart and came to a stop. The second dog, riding in the passenger seat then rolled down the window according to onlookers at the scene of the incident.

We know what you're thinking...this must be a joke. But yes, this actually happened. The Wayne's County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene. A dispatcher took the following notes from an officer who responded to the scene: "Two dogs in the car. One knocked car out of gear. Other rolled window down," according to Wayne County 911.

The dogs were unharmed in the accident. The car and the building only sustained minimal damage.

When a Walmart employee paged the car's owner, who according to WSAZ, appeared to be an elderly woman "in her late 70's," she explained that she had left the vehicle running while she stopped so that the car's air conditioning could keep her pets from overheating in the car. The woman was able to drive her car home after the crash.

Local resident, Dakota Davis told the news outlet, "It's not something you hear everyday, but I guess it's Wayne County."

What would you do if you saw two dogs behind the wheel of a car that was slowly rolling away?
