Extreme skydiver, Luke Aikins, has successfully landed 18,000 parachute jumps in his 26-year career. However, the skydiving daredevil now plans to seriously outdo himself in his next stunt.

Luke Aikins will jump out of an airplane at 25,000 feet with nothing but the clothes on his back, according to ABC News. The 42-year-old aerial expert will free-fall for two minutes over Simi Valley, California tomorrow evening without a parachute while attempting to become the first skydiver to land safely in a net.

The fall will be twice the height of a normal dive, and should last around 126 seconds. Aikins will be forced to rely completely on the wind currents and his body to land on a net suspended 20 stories above the California desert, with dimensions of 100x100 feet. The area is one-third that of a football field, and Aikans claims he will be aiming for a specific target "right in the middle."

In order to prevent Aikins from bouncing out of the net after impact, the net is suspended 200 feet above the ground and with enough stretching capabilities to soften the landing.

Over the last 30 years, Aikins has trained with some of the world's most skilled skydivers. He worked as a stuntman for Marvel's 'Ironman 3' film, and even completed his first tandem jump when he was only 12-years-old.

Aikins has been doing intense training to pull off the incredible stunt. "Aikins has made over 200 practice jumps as part of a meticulous planning and preparation routine that he says will allow him to pull off the daring jump safely."

"I mean, I got a wife and a son," Aikins stated, while also mentioning that his family will be waiting on the ground for him during the jump. "I plan on being here for along time, being a pain in his neck."

The event, called 'Heaven Sent,' will be on Fox at 8:00 p.m. ET.
