Even though it’s only June, the year 2017 has already seen the deaths of a slew of celebrities. Several beloved Hollywood stars, musicians, and comedians have gone too soon but their legacies will live on forever.

The legendary comedian died on April 6 from kidney failure. He was 90 when he passed away in his Los Angeles home. He was known for perfecting the art of the insult. He made dozens of TV show appearances on The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, and The Twilight Zone.

Mengering, the mother of late night host David Letterman, became a fan favorite of The Late Show. She passed away on April 11 at age 95.
The comedian, and brother of Eddie Murphy, died on April 12 after battling leukemia. He was 57 years old and known for his career as a stand-up comic. He also will be remembered for hisย Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Storiesย skits, a series of sketches on Chappelle’s Show.
The Happy Days star died on April 22 from cancer at the age of 56. She first rose to fame as a 13-year-old on Happy Days and went on to star in Joanie Loves Chachi for two seasons.

The star of Rob & Big died on May 9 from a heart attack. He served as a bodyguard and best friend to MTV’sย Rob Dyrdekย on the popular show, which ran from 2006 to 2008.
