More bad news has hit Jodie Sweetin‘s ex-fiancé Justin Hodak.
Hodak was sentenced to more than six years in prison on Friday after pleading “no contest” to possession of a deadly weapon and “no contest” to falsifying evidence by threatening a witness with or implied force.

In addition to his prison sentencing, which comes after his three arrests in March, Hodak has multiple programs to complete.

He was ultimately ordered to serve six years and eight months in state prison after he was found guilty on both felony charges. Once he completes his prison time, Hodak will be placed on formal probation for five years.
He will have to complete a 52-week domestic violence treatment program as well as follow the rules of his protective order, which refrains him from releasing images or video of the Fuller House star.
He is not allowed to own or possess any deadly or dangerous weapons. At his next court hearing on May 12, Hodak must submit proof to the court that he handed over his 9mm semiautomatic gun to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Hodak took a plea deal, which eliminated his other counts including stalking.
Sweetin spoke out about her ex-fiance’s arrests at the end of March. She posted a photo of with her two daughters, Beatrix Coyle, 6, and Zoie Herpin, 8, thanking fans for their support during the difficult time.
“Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out over the past two weeks,” she wrote. “It’s definitely been a roller coaster, but with amazing family, friends and fans, I’ll be just fine! These two little loves are my everything and we will make it through!! Thank you for all the love!!”
Sweetin and Hodak announced their engagement in January 2016 after two years of dating. They confirmed their split on March 24 of this year.
