Country singer Granger Smith has a very unique way to get ready for a show.

Smith performs high-intensity live shows, so he has to give himself an added energy boost before taking the stage.

The "Happens Like That" singer jumps into an ice cold bath for a little over three minutes for his pre-show ritual.

"Nice little ice bath," he says in the video before going into the water. "It's gonna be cold! I got my temperature right where I want it, 49 degrees. My heart rate's already going. I'm already nervous! I'm going to go for about three-and-a-half minutes."

Smith held his phone while he took the plunge into the cold water and gave his fans an insight into the experience.

"Better than Yee Yee Energy," he says, referencing his energy drink line. "Not many things are better than Yee Yee Energy, but ice baths are."
