Walker Hayes Expecting Baby No. 7

Congratulations are in order for country singer Walker Hayes and his wife Lenny as they are expecting their seventh child.

In a pre-CMA Awards interview, the couple told Taste of Country that they are going to be welcoming the newest addition to their brood in 2018.

“We’re so excited that we’re pregnant again,” the singer said. “Just living the dream right now, we’re on cloud nine, me and my family. We got good news in the house.”

Hayes and his wife have three boys and three girls already. He also explained that they have already picked out a name for the next baby that is due in May or June.

“We just love them, they’re amazing,” he says. “We’re doing it and we love it and we love all of them and I can’t wait to see what [sex] this one is.”

Hayes said that his children are thrilled that they will be getting another sibling. His 11-year-old daughter Leila cried because she was so happy.

“My kids are losing their minds excited, it was fun to watch,” he said. “We’re so fortunate.”
