‘RHOC’ Star Tamra Judge Speaks out After Estranged Daughter Blasts Her on Social Media

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge has had an interesting week.

While on vacation with her husband Eddie and two children in Aruba, the Bravo star experienced drama with her estranged daughter Sidney Barney.

On Monday night, Barney, 18, unloaded all of her feelings towards her mother in a lengthy Facebook post. After years of conflict with her mother, Barney was ready to tell her side of the story. In the post, she explained why Judge “was no mother” to her.

“The reasons I left my mothers house are that she was neglectful (leaving us at home with no food or simply ignoring us entirely), she constantly put herself first and the biggest reason was that she was mentally and emotionally abusive,” Barney shared.

She revealed some troubling details about their relationship.

The teenager says Judge “[puts] herself, her fame, her reputation, and her bank account before me.”

Barney, whose father is Judge’s ex-husband Simon, claimed Judge went against her promise to not post any photos from her recent graduation. She provided screengrabs from her conversation with her mom begging her not to publicly discuss or share images from the day.

She added, “If she really wanted a relationship she would keep her promises and recognize that it is no one else’s fault but hers that I do not want her in my life.”

Tamra Judge’s Response…

The RHOC star responded to the Facebook post, writing, “All I’ve ever done is love you from the second I found I was pregnant. I’m sorry you hate me so much. I fought so hard for you. I will always love and hope you realize one day how wrong all this is. So hurtful and not necessary.”

She also responded to a fan alerting her of the post on Twitter, “Not surprised. #brainwashed Ask her [who] paid for her very expensive college. I’m good when it works for her and her dad.”

In addition, the reality star also spoke to the claims she abuses her children. Alongside a series of photos she shared on Instagram, Judge wrote, “I love my daughter and I would NEVER abuse, hurt or neglect her in any way. I ask that you do not send Sidney negative messages or comments, Direct them at me if feel the need.”

Tamra Judge Slams Former ‘RHOC’ Star for Commenting on Sidney’s Post

Judge, 49, took a shot at her former RHOC co-star Gretchen Rossi on Instagram after she commented on her daughter’s Facebook post. 

The mother of four, who has had her issues with Rossi in the past, did not appreciate the Bravo alum’s comment. Judge called Rossi a “thirsty wannabe” and “#obsessedfreak.”

Rossi wrote on 18-year-old Barney’s post encouraging her to “stay strong.”

“You have no idea how your brave words are helping so many who have been wronged by your Mother’s manipulation and lies as well….so thank you for being brave enough to speak the truth,” Rossi commented. “I am so sorry your mother and your family is going through any of this, especially publicly, but continue to stay strong. Your morals and strength are commendable and inspiring.”

Judge shared a screenshot of Rossi’s post on Instagram, but later deleted the post.

She responded to Rossi’s comment, writing, “I usually don’t give this troll any attention because it’s exactly what she wants. But after years of her bashing me and now reaching out to my daughter I must say. Gretchen you are the biggest piece of s— I’ve ever met. Move on with your sad empty childless life and stay out of mine you thirsty wannabe.” 

“You are obsessed with my life and I haven’t even seen or spoke to you in 5 years. #MoveOn You have NO IDEA What my family is going through or what the truth is, Nor do you care. It’s just an opportunity for you to get your name in the press. #obsessedfreak,” Judge continued. “Funny you of all people should be talking about morals. You have none!” 

Tamra and Eddie Judge Renew Their Vows

Despite the drama, Judge is focusing on love.

On Tuesday, the RHOC star and her husband Eddie renewed their vows in Aruba. She shared a photo of herself and Eddie holding hands and kissing while walking on the beach. 

Next to the picture she wrote, “Celebrating love with all the hate that’s going on. My God bless your life because it’s not always easy. But God has a plan.. a big plan.”

The couple, who tied the knot in June 2013, renewed their vows on Eagle Beach in the tropical location during the Caribbean’s largest vow renewal ceremony. 

“Aruba is simply beautiful,” Judge told PEOPLE. “It meant everything for Eddie and I to be able to ‘renew our I Do’s’ in such a picturesque setting, in the company of our family. Cheers to a lifetime of love and adventure, from the One happy island!”

In the post, Judge gave a shout-out to her three supportive costars: Shannon Beador, Lydie McLaughlin and Kelly Dodd.

“I wanna say thank you to @shannonbeador @oclydia @rhoc_kellyddodd (you know what you did and you all rock),” she wrote.
