Allen pled no contest to felony domestic violence and felony assault with a deadly weapon at a hearing in Van Nuys on Thursday. Upon his release from prison, Allen will serve five years probation and undergo a year of domestic violence counseling. He is also required to stay away from the victim for 10 years.

The assault occurred in June 2016, with Allen reportedly chasing his girlfriend into a coffee shop. A woman tried to intervene, with Allen allegedly throwing a glass vase at her and trashing the shop. He was then subdued by bystanders.

Deadline reports that Allen was formally convicted of one felony count each of willfully injuring a girlfriend after a prior conviction and assault with a deadly weapon (the glass vase), according to L.A. County D.A. Jackie Lacey's office.

Allen was taken into custody immediately after Thursday's hearing.
