Whatever you do, don’t call out Kim Kardashian for her swatching techniques.
This week, Kardashian took to her Instagram story to share the first look at her new line of powder contour and highlight kits. As she began swatching the makeup onto her arm, things didn’t go well.

Fans began to criticize Kim for her techniques, wondering why someone who makes a living selling makeup does such a poor job at showing it off.
After being called out by the fans, as well as by makeup artist Jeffree Star, Kardashian went on a bit of a tirade in her next video.
“Guys, I have a huge f***ing pimple right here,” Kim stated. “I know the f***ing comments about my awful swatches are stressing me the f*** out, I know. I didn’t know how to f***ing swatch, get over it.”
For those who aren’t familiar, swatching is a technique used when showing off makeup. The makeup is applied to the arm to demonstrate how the color blends with the skin.
