Kailyn Lowry’s Baby Bump Over The Months

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry’s is now almost in her third trimester with her third child from her third baby daddy. Now that the 26-year-old’s belly is getting closer and closer to being full grown, let’s take a look at her growing baby bump over the last few months.

The rumors that Kailyn Lowry was expecting another child first surfaced in February. At the time the baby’s father was unknown. However, Lowry went on to confirm the identity of the baby daddy later in May.

Lowry took to her blog in February to reveal that she is indeed pregnant, writing in a post that she is “100% happy.”

“If you’ve googled my name the past few weeks, the speculation of so many things have surfaced — no one knows what’s true, what’s false and what really goes on in my day-to-day life. Since everyone can’t wait for the confirmation; here it goes. I am pregnant,” the post read.

She continued by saying: “I’m sad that I should have known that people in my life would sell me out before I was ready. Like any normal person, I want it to be a happy time. I wanted this to be a private time so I could be excited while not getting chased by paparazzi and bothered with crazy headlines.”

Around the time of the announcement, Kailyn’s baby bump was already visible. She made an appearance on Teen Mom 2‘s after show to give a glimpse of her belly.

Later in March, Kailyn’s baby bump made significant growth. She took to Instagram to post a photo holding her belly and it was clear to see that her little one was getting much bigger.

Kailyn Lowry is also the mother of two young boys: 7-year-old son Isaac Elliot Rivera, with ex Jo Rivera, and 3-year-old son Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.

As Kailyn’s baby bump continued to grow, the speculation as to who the father of the baby is continued to grow as well. Around the time of her pregnancy reveal, Kailyn had just finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Javi Marroquin. 

One of the reasons Kailyn and Javi called it quits on their marriage was because they disagreed on whether they wanted to have more children. Lowry said she did not, while Javi said he did. After they broke up, Lowry became pregnant and caused many of her fans to be thoroughly confused.

“Please know this was a choice I made, I already know some won’t agree but I’ve been showered with support by the ones I love since I found out,” she said. “This is the baby I thought I wasn’t sure if I could have. I know this isn’t an ideal situation but I know everything will be okay. My boys are so excited, those who love me are so excited, and I hope that everyone can just be happy for me during this time.”

At the end of April, Kailyn gave her followers a hint as to the father of her third child. Lowry snapped a selfie with the caption: “Happy bump day from Baby Lo & me.”

Fans of the show speculated that her friend, Chris Lopez, was the father of the child. As it turns out, the fans were correct.

Kailyn went on to confirm that Chris Lopez, who has actively avoided being in the public eye, is the baby daddy of her third child. Earlier this year, InTouch reported that MTV was trying to negotiate a contract with Chris to have him appear on Teen Mom 2, but the network was not having much luck.

“Most of the [boyfriends and girlfriends of the stars of the show] just want to be on TV, and are excited to get a little fame, so they instantly agree to go on,” an insider said while speaking with In Touch. “This guy has been different. He doesn’t want all the headache that comes with being on the show. He doesn’t want to get picked apart and give up his privacy.”

One significant milestone in Kailyn Lowry’s third pregnancy was when she managed to graduate from college while raising two children and starring in a reality show.

She shared a snap on social media from the ceremony that showed her holding her graduation cap in one hand while cradling her baby belly with the other.

Speaking of her graduation, Kailyn said while talking to E! News: “It’s been a long and emotional journey, especially without any support from my parents. But I’m so happy and relieved!”

Prior to completing her undergraduate degree, the expectant mother took to her blog to express how important it was for her to finish this step of her education.

“If you follow any amount of the show, you know I’ve been struggling to get through school and earn my bachelor’s over the last 6 years…Yes, 6 years,” she wrote. “Between teen motherhood, financial hurdles in the beginning, then moving to a new state, marriage, babies and divorce… and then of course just wanting to give up, I (barely) held on and I’m FINALLY graduating May 13!”

The MTV starlet captioned the pic: “Mom x3 + a degree.”

Just this week, Kail took to Instagram to share the latest ultrasound photos of her baby on the way. Judging by the images, the little one is going to be just as cute as her two sons, Lincoln and Isaac. She captioned the snap: “I had a date with Baby Lo today.”

While there have been several high points throughout Kail’s pregnancy, she has admitted that there definitely have been difficult times over the last few months.

“I’ve cried more in the past 6 months than I have in my entire life,” she tweeted earlier this year.

Lowry also shared retweets from the account, Broken, which read, “I’m having a really hard time but in time I will be fine” and “Someday I’ll be happy again.”

Despite her difficulties, Kailyn said that she made the decision to have her third child after learning that she might not be able to have more kids.

“I think realizing the choice was almost being taken away from me made me realize I definitely wanted one more little one,” she said while talking to Cupcake Mag.

“Why did I wait? I’ve had a lot of health complications leading up to his pregnancy and I was not ready to release such private information on my own just yet being that I am so high-risk with this pregnancy. I didn’t want to announce just to have another miscarriage and suffer through another grief.”

Kailyn Lowry now seems happy as ever to be carrying her third child, and her fans and followers can’t wait to meet the baby.
