‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Reunited for Filming and Flooded Social Media With Posts

The rumors appear to be true! Although nothing has officially been confirmed, it looks like cast of Jersey Shore is coming back for a reunion special.

On Tuesday, July 11, the cast members of the hit MTV series reunited for some filming and food. Almost every star hit up social media to post photos and videos from their reunion, which comes five years after their last season.

Jersey Shore aired from 2009 to 2012, with the crew living at the Shore, Italy and Miami.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio, Sammi “Sweatheart” Giancola, Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Deena Nicole Cortese were all spotted out together on Tuesday, but one castmate was noticeably absent from the social media posts – Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

It seems like the crew hasn’t changed a bit since we last saw them, which makes this reunion extra special.

The crew is headed to the Jersey Shore

News of a possible reunion broke back in June when some of the cast members were seen at on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore with a camera crew. The group went to Jenkinson’s Pavilion Restaurant, a place they ventured to often on the series.

On Tuesday morning, Polizzi, Farley and Delvecchio took to Snapchat to post photos with the Jersey Shore filter. 

Que the anticipation…

Farley and Delvecchio tried to be a little sly about their whereabouts. While Farley shared a photo of herself “trying to wink.” Delvecchio used his Bitmoji to send a clue to his fans. The DJ said on Snapchat, “But what are we up to? You just don’t know. I know, but you don’t know.”

Polizzi wasn’t as secretive about what her plans were for the day. Before heading out to the Shore, Polizzi told her fans on Snapchat, “Alright guys, on my way to see some friends. You might know them.”

Jwoww and Snooki are back

Once the crew got to their filming location, Polizzi couldn’t stop herself with Snapchat. She took videos of her bff Farley dancing, while she stayed inside the air-conditioned car. Farley quickly caught on to the fact Polizzi was filming her, so she started to pose.

Polizzi even said Farley looked like a Power Ranger because of her all gray jumpsuit. “Oh my God, she’s so embarrassing,” Polizzi said on Snapchat. “She looks like a Power Ranger.”

Don’t worry, that wasn’t all for the Jersey Shore crew!

Italian dinners are their specialty

The rest of the group started showing up on social media when they all gathered for a meal at a restaurant.

Cortese took to Instagram with a video of Delvecchio and Giancola. While Coretese and Delvecchio played with filters, Giancola starred at her phone. “My babies,” Cortese captioned the video. 

Delvecchio also had some fun with Snapchat filters and posted a few videos with Farley and Guadagnino.

The “GTL” crew is reunited and it feels so good

Sorrentino managed to get the whole group together in one video. He shared a video at the restaurant with his cast members and his longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce. 

While everyone started waving to the camera, Sorrentino gave shoutouts. “What in the Dirty Little Hamster is Happening here,” he wrote alongside the clip, adding the wink-face, world and Italian flag emoji.
