Erin Andrews turned the sidelines into a runway Sunday as the NFL reporter’s bold outfit went viral.
Reporting from the field during Sunday’s San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles playoff game, Andrews had everyone talking with a bold fur coat that internet sleuths identified as the $950 Auter faux fur “The Fox” jacket.

“I also want to hear about that coat,” play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt said during the second half of the game. “It’s terrific.”
Football fans were quick to comment on the jacket online as well, with one X (formerly Twitter) user writing, “Erin Andrews out here in that epic fur, looking like she just stepped off a runway in the Arctic. Iconic vibes only”
Another fan of the ‘fit commented, “Erin Andrews GOT THAT S— ON TODAY!!!! Y’all see that fur?!?!?!!!!??” with a third adding, “Erin Andrews is wearing THE HELL outta that coat.”
Other people had a bit more fun with their commentary, with one X user writing that the sports journalist “decided to channel her inner Cruella de Vil” with the jacket. “I love & respect @ErinAndrews …also/and that coat she’s wearing today looks like she offed 101 Dalmatians to get it…” another person echoed on X.
A different X user kept the pop culture comparisons going, writing, “And shoutout to Erin Andrew’s coat, the type of coat only movie villains wear.”
Following the hubbub over her jacket, Andrews told NewBeauty, “I wanted something fun and exciting and high fashion, and I knew when my stylist, Daniela [Romero], suggested I wear it that it was something outside the box.”
“I forgot I was even wearing it until I heard Michael Strahan’s reaction, and I just thought, ‘Oh man, this is gonna have a social media kind of buzzing,’” she continued, adding, “But did I think it would get such a big reaction? No, not at all. And to be honest, I’m so caught up in the game, our game was so back and forth, I really had zero clue what was happening on social media until the game was over.”
“We take it week by week!” Romero told the outlet about what goes into Andrews’ game-day looks. “We have looks that are set aside for hot, rainy or cold weather. Also, depending on what teams are playing, we stay neutral on the colors she wears.”
