Plaza and her Ingrid Goes West co-star Elizabeth Olsen were speaking with Entertainment Tonight when the conversation turned toward Plaza's stalker.

Plaza said, "I had kind of an online Twitter stalker, kind of, person that was around. This was a couple years ago and then I was shooting a movie in Seattle and we found out that that person had applied to be an extra."

Elizabeth Olsen quickly interjected, "Did you get a restraining order?"

"I don't remember," Plaza replied.

She then added, "But it's fine. I'm fine. But yeah, there was something about, there was a lot of, like, weird, creepy messages about cats. I don't know what he was talking about. He really wanted to have dinner with me dressed as a cat or something."

Unfortunately, Plaza isn't the only actress who's has to deal with online harassers and stalkers.

It was recently revealed that Ellen Page has been receiving death threats on her Instagram page, and it's become so bad that the Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation.

The person in question sent several horrible messages to Page.

One message reported called her a "lying worthless Canadian" and a "b-tch actress" who "needs to die in my hands."

Another supposedly said, "I find Ellen and kidnap her and kill her throat and let everyone see it on my Instagram."

The report reveals that last month LAPD detectives were able to get a search warrant in order to trace the IP address of the person who sent the messages, but, to date, no arrests have been made.
