Wonder Woman and its star, Gal Gadot, have been making headlines since even before the superhero film was released to critical and commercial acclaim in June, and the actress made the news again over the weekend for the sweetest reason.

Gadot was signing autographs with her Justice League co-stars at San Diego Comic-Con when she was approached by a tiny Wonder Woman fan who appeared to cry upon meeting the actress.

In a video taken by Variety, Gadot can be heard telling the girl, "Now we are friends so there's no reason to cry anymore. We are together!"

She later encourages the girl to smile, with co-star Ezra Miller calling the young cosplayer a "warrior."

This moment between Gadot and her young fan further proves the importance of female-led films, as characters like Wonder Woman give girls of all ages strong and powerful figures to idolize.
