“My engagement was amazing,” Cannatella dished. “He completely surprised me.”
The reality star shared that she was at brunch with her sister when she noticed a group of her friends standing outside listening to a jazz band. As they walked down the street, she continued to spot more and more people she knew.
“At that point, I realized that the jazz band was following us and we had police escorts,” she shared. “Then ran into more friends who gave me a parasol (umbrella people use when doing a traditional second-line in New Orleans). So we all danced down the street in the French Quarter until we reached Jackson Square and my daddy and step mom and more friends were there and [Hensz] got down on one knee in the park in front of the church with the band playing!”
“It was insane,” she added of the surprise. “He had to get a city permit for the second line and everything, I was so shocked.”
Cannatella, who is from Cut Off, Louisiana, announced the news on Twitter Sunday, writing, “Soooooo in other news….some poor guy asked me to be his wife. And I said hell yes.”

She also shared a few photos from her special day in which she and Hensz, who is a fighter pilot with the Louisiana Air National Guard and pilot for Delta, can be seen on the streets of New Orleans together.
Officially for real off the market. This guy is the best man I have ever met. I’m so lucky. ๐ pic.twitter.com/6ZTQIkSEGj
