What would the Kardashian family be without the title Keeping Up With the Kardashians?

Well, it turns out their show was originally going to be called The Kardashians: Krazy With a K. After the cable network picked up their series, the family went straight into filming, without a title set in stone.

The executives were struggling to find a catchy name for the show. According to Damla Dogan, the senior vice-president of development and programming at E!, “We were up against an airdate and didn’t have a title we loved.”

Another option was Living Kardashian.

Caitlyn Jenner Did Not Come up With the Reality Show Idea

In Caitlyn’s memoir, The Secrets of Life, she hinted at the fact that the show KUWTK was her idea, writing,  “The house is awash in puberty and adolescence and young adulthood and two parents with very different styles. It seems to me something is there for television. … Kris says she is the one who came up with the idea…”

However, the matriarch of the family denied her claims during the interview. “It’s so absurd. I’m not sure what the motivation was for her to say something like that. Maybe somebody should remind her that it’s called Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

It appears the entire Kardashian/Jenner family was on board for the series except one member – Kourtney.

The oldest Kardashian sibling was skeptical and showed “resistance.”

She seemed to have change her outlook on the reality series quickly as she continued to film multiple spin-off series and star in KUWTK.

Khloe Kardashian Did Not Want a Spin-Off Show With Lamar Odom

Despite the multiple KUWTK spin-off shows, it turns out Khloé was not fond of her own series with then-husband Lamar Odom.

She did not want to put their troubled marriage in front of cameras.

“I never wanted to do Khloé & Lamar; my ex-husband did. He sold it to E!, and I let it happen because I wanted him to be happy,” Khloé said. “I was the one who canceled it. It was way too much.”

Caitlyn Jenner’s Transition Was The “Most Difficult Thing to Film”

Out of the 10 years of filming their reality tv show, Kayne West’s wife revealed that the most difficult part was Caitlyn’s transition.

In 2014, Kris and Bruce Jenner finalized their divorce, and the following year he announced his transition process.

“The most difficult thing [to film] was probably Caitlyn’s transition and just seeing my mom and Khloé having such a hard time,” she said. “We never really edited content before, but we did edit a bit of Khloé’s reaction just because she was so upset.”
