“Sweet Dreams, world,” he captioned the moment.
The proud dad prepared to welcome his baby girl in an Instagram post on Thursday, writing, “Go time…” alongside a shot of himself in full hospital scrubs.
The couple is also parents to son McCoy Lee, 2. They announced that they were expecting a baby girl with a sweet photo of a tiny University of Texas at Austin cheerleader’s uniform next to a similar University of Nebraska โ Lincoln outfit.
Baby girl is gonna have a tough time deciding who to cheer for, but we’ll love her no matter what school she chooses…right, @kiwiporter? pic.twitter.com/ydwjfBDVLU

After welcoming McCoy, the couple revealed to People that Kelsey had been diagnosed with Huntington’s disease, a neurological condition that causes nerve cells in the brain to break down over time.
“As soon as we found out Kelsey had Huntington’s, she said, ‘I want to have a kid right away,’ ” Porter said at the time. ” ‘I want to have as much time with our kids as I possibly can before Huntington’s starts to take effect.’”
To eliminate the possibility of their children having the disease, the couple used in vitro fertilization.
“We did preimplantation genetic diagnosis, which they test the embryo,” Kelsey explained. “They tested all our embryos for Huntington’s and [McCoy] was the first little baby who made it all the way.”
