Two of Teen Mom 2‘s stars are slamming MTV after they misconstrued several scenes in the latest episode of the series.

All reality shows are edited heavily, but Teen Mom‘s edits usually aren’t so misleading that the stars have to speak out. However, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea (Houska) DeBoer each saw scenes with their families tampered with in ways they did not approve of.

DeBoer had one scene that bothered her. Apparently the MTV editors took a phrase she said and placed it into a different conversation. This is a common practice on reality shows, but she felt it was worth pointing out as a “#RealityTVProb.”

“Just a little something that irked me about the show tonight,” she wrote. “There’s a part where I say ‘I feel like it’s taking away from Cole’s experience,’ and that was taken out of context from a different convo and added in that scene for some reason.”

Lowry, who’s nearing the birth of her third child, apparently also had beef with MTV because of the latest episode. She responded to DeBoer’s tweets with allegations that the crew “provoked” Isaac in-order to get some tears rolling.

“They did [that] several times on tonight’s episodes,” she said to DeBoer. “And provoked the scene with Isaac crying at dinner!!! And I lost my mind!!!”

She also bashed the show’s blatant edits in a later tweet. She pointed out that the timeline of the show was overly altered because you can see the different paint colors on the same wall.

“Let’s talk about how bad the timeline is off tonight,” she wrote. “Peep the wall paint & how it flips from mint to yellow back to mint.”

MTV’s Teen Mom 2 airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. CT.
