Raymond Braun tweeted a casting call last week for the upcoming show, Catfish: Trolls. The media entrepreneur's Twitter bio indicates that he will be a co-host of the show alongside radio and television personality Charlamagne tha God.

Another tweet from Shows Casting Now provided a few more details as to what the upcoming series is looking for and hints that, like Catfish: The TV Show, Catfish: Trolls will be bringing the online rivals face to face on the series.

Chris McCarthy, president of MTV, VH1 and Logo, told Variety that the show is part of the network's recognition of the importance of the digital world and social media in the lives of young people.

"The digital component is what's new but we're still looking at tried and true principles that young people face," McCarthy said. "So much of it plays out in the social and digital world. Our shows need to reflect that."
