Evidenced from the couple's photographs shared to their Instagram, the landscape has incredible grassy plains and rolling hills. Not to mention, the Maasai Mara crosses the Mara and Talek rivers. For tourists, it's also a very remarkable area as it is lined with villages, known as the enkangs, full of Maasai people.
Joining the Jambo Savannah Safari, the two reveled in a private getaway alongside a tour guide as they visited the area. Hough shared an image to her Instagram of her sitting on the tree trunk, while Laich shared a shot of him resting with a sunhat.

While visiting the Maasai Mara, Hough and Laich also stayed at the Angama Mara, an outstanding owner-run safari lodge inspired by the Swahili word for "suspended in mid-air." As per their website, the lodges are located high above the floor of Africa's Great Rift Valley and overlooks the Maasai Mara.
The two also went on to have lovely breakfast while sitting among the savannah grasses and blue skies.

The couple also had the chance to sight-see via a hot-air balloon, with Hough sharing an image of herself gazing with binoculars towards the wildlife reserve. Captioning the image, with the hashtag, "game changer," Hough wrote, "My only form of transportation from here on out guys."
For a bird's eye view of the Maasai Mara and overlooking the plains, the hot-air balloon makes for an absolutely magical experience. The couple spent one hour floating over the savannah and we can guarantee it filled them with enough memories to last a lifetime.
