The look on his face is curious, as his eyes are squinted and his lips are pursed, which could either be him expressing pain at the process or playfully posing for the camera.

The reason the two are together in a makeup trailer is that they are both starring on season two of FX‘s American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace.

Season one of American Crime Story focused on the famous trial of O.J. Simpson who was charged with murder. That season was met with wide critical acclaim and on multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

Season two is described as “exploring the murder of designer Gianni Versace by serial killer Andrew Cunanan, based on Maureen Orth’s book Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History.”

Penélope Cruz will be playing Donatella Versace, the sister of Gianni Versace, and Ricky Martin will be playing Antonio D’Amico, Gianni Versace’s partner.

The series also stars Édgar Ramírez as Gianni Versace, Darren Criss as Andrew Cunanan, Max Greenfield as Santo Versace, Annaleigh Ashford as Elizabeth Cote, Nico Evers-Swindell as Phil Cote, and Finn Wittrock as Jeffrey Trail.

No word as of yet on when the new season will air, but it is currently being filmed.

It’s also been announced that the third season of American Crime Story will portray the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
