The image was a still photo from when the celebrity couple co-starred together in 2010’s The Last Kiss. Miley was seen soaking wet from the ocean wearing a sheer white top as she puckers up for a kiss with her Australian beau, who was wearing a plaid button-down shirt.
The two met on the set of the film, which was based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name. Miley and Liam then started dating after they wrapped filming and later got engaged. In 2013, the pair called off their engagement. However, they rekindled their romance three years later. They are now planning to tie the knot once again.

Liam Hemsworth wasn’t the only person to get an International Kissing Day shout out on Instagram on Thursday. Miley revealed a follow-up post that showed her laying a smooch on a photo of Sir Paul McCartney.
Miley captioned the pic: “A kiss for Paul @paulmccartney #sgtpepperslonelyheartsclubband #InternationalKissingDay.”
In recent months, rumors have been swirling that Miley and Liam were planning on tying the knot in a secret wedding. Back in June, The Voice coach’s mother, Tish Cyrus, shot down the speculation.
“She is not eloping,” Cyrus while talking with Mario Lopez on his On With Mario radio show. “She is not getting married. They are so freaking happy and living in Malibu. She’s so happy and always like, ‘I don’t know why everybody wants us to get married. It’s so perfect.’”
While the plans may not be set in stone for Miley and Liam to get married, Tish has an idea of what she thinks her daughter would enjoy on her big day.
“Of course, I would probably [want a big wedding]. She would never do that, I don’t think,” Cyrus said. “She’s a simple, simple girl. I don’t think so. I want all of my kids to have big weddings.”
