We're not worthy -but Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Scott Darling certainly is! The Chicago area native unveiled his new mask for the 2016-2017 NHL season and it is most excellent.

Along the side of the mask showcases two iconic 90's characters, Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar of Wayne's World. Yes, Mike Myers and Dana Carvey's faces adorn the helmet along with the logo for Wayne and Garth's favorite hangout spot, Stan Mikita's Donuts.

Game on! Thanks @davidofdaveart and @bauergoalie for another great mask #WaynesWorld

Wayne's World was originally an SNL skit that spawned two classic cult movies in the early 90's. The stories take place in Aurora, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Darling himself, not only plays for Chicago, but grew up in the southwestern suburb Lemont, only 30 miles from Aurora.

This isn't the first time Wayne and Garth are making an impact on the NHL. Back in the mid-1990's, the duo's street hockey phrase, "Game On!" became the official slogan of the NHL. Of course both characters were big hockey fans – Blackhawks fans, naturally.

The original Wayne's World film was released on February 14, 1992. So, perhaps the best way to truly celebrate the 25th anniversary would be for the Blackhawks to party on, maybe even add a little bit of "Bohemian Rhapsody" for good measure.
