John Boyega Reveals Why He Won’t Watch ‘Game of Thrones’

Most of Hollywood’s biggest stars have found themselves obsessed with HBO’s Game of Thrones. However, John Boyega isn’t one of those people.

Boyega, who stars as Finn in the famed Star Wars franchise, has publicly stated that he doesn’t watch Game of Thrones, despite the phenomenon that the series has become.

While speaking with Variety, Boyega said that he doesn’t have the patience to watch Game of Thrones from week to week.

“I’m going to wait until all the episodes are out so I can binge,” the actor said. “I can’t do this whole ‘next week on Game of Thrones.‘ I don’t have the patience.”

That means Boyega is planning on waiting another year before even starting Game of Thrones.

It’s a bold strategy, but it makes sense. Waiting to binge is the only way to keep from waiting no new episodes.

However, as involved as Boyega is in Hollywood, he could be doing himself a disservice. Is there any chance he can make it another year without spoiling the events of the series?

It’s going to be difficult, but he’s certainly going to try.
