To celebrate the release of his newest autobiography, Hail to the Chin: Further Confessions of a B-Movie Actor, Bruce Campbell is going on a book tour all across the country. For those lucky enough to catch him at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, MI, Dread Central reports you'll also have a chance to compete against other fans in a competitive trivia game to prove who is the geekiest fan in attendance.
The details of the competition are as follows:
"Last Fan Standing is an interactive trivia quest built from four primary pillars of content, that include: fantasy, horror, sci-fi and superheroes. Not your average quiz show or trivia contest, Last Fan Standing tests your knowledge about the things that really matter. Through provided "audience response devices" (clickers if you insist on getting technical), each audience member participates in a series of multiple choice questions, where the players with the fastest-correct answers advance to the Podium Rounds. The Podium Rounds bring the top four (4) players from the audience to a winner-take-all battle of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Superheroes, and Horror based trivia. After each round the player with the lowest score is eliminated, until there is only one….Last Fan Standing!"

One of Campbell's most defining roles is Ash Williams from the Evil Dead films, earning him a cult following in the early '80s. Throughout his career, he has also starred in TV series like The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., Xena: Warrior Princess, and Burn Notice.
In 2013, a reboot of Evil Dead hit theaters, with many fans disappointed to neither see the character of Ash or Campbell himself appear, focusing instead on an all-new cast of characters.

In fact, one of the special features on a limited edition version DVD of Evil Dead included a short documentary that the star made, Fanalysis, which depicted the fervent fan base of not just Evil Dead, but various different types of fandoms.
