Fans of ABC’s Wednesday night comedy lineup were left disappointed when their favorite shows didn’t air because of the Country Music Association Awards. Particularly, The Goldbergs fans were especially irritated.
The sitcom’s fans tuned in expecting a new episode but got a dose of country music stand-up instead. Many fans went to twitter to vent their frustrations, and took some shots at the CMAs while they were at it.

“The f—ing CMAs interrupted my weekly episode of The Goldbergs, and that is why country music should be obliterated,” one irked fan wrote.
Luckily, the show will return next week for a special Thanksgiving episode entitled “A Wall Street Thanksgiving.”
