With networks making final decisions of what shows will be renewed and canceled for the fall 2017 slate, final decisions are being made about when the different programs will air. NBC has solidified their fall TV lineup, along with it, they’re released their schedule, which includes quite a few adjustments to established shows’ schedules.
Some of NBC‘s biggest hits will now be airing at new times or on new nights, including This Is Us, The Blacklist, Blindspot, Taken, Superstore, The Good Place and Great News. Debuting this fall will be the new drama series The Brave, along with limited series Will & Grace and Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders.

Another new series can be expected after the initial fall slate, Jason Katims’ drama Rise, which will be held until the mid-season so the network can take advantage of the Winter Olympics to promote the series.

New series The Brave‘sย synopsis is as follows:
“From Keshet Studios and Avi Nir (executive producer of Homeland) comes a fresh, heart-pounding journey into the complex world of America’s elite undercover military heroes. While D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Anne Heche) and her team of analysts wield the world’s most advanced surveillance technology from Washington, D.C., Adam Dalton and his heroic Special Ops squad of highly trained undercover specialists use their unbreakable bond and commitment to freedom to save lives of innocent people and execute missions in some of the most dangerous places in the world. The Blackistย has moved to Wednesday from its Thursday slot, at one point being one of the network’s most popular series. After a dip in ratings in the new slot, it is being moved to Wednesday night to replace Blindspot‘sย former slot.

NBC is bring back the branding of “Must See TV” to Thursday nights, which the network used to dominate in the ’90s with hits like Friends and Seinfeld. The network hopes that by anchoring one of their most-talked-aboutย dramas, This Is Us, and bringing back a Must See TV veteran, Will & Grace, they can once again take control of the night’s programming.
New seriesย Law & Order True Crime: The Menendezย Murders’s synopsis is as follows:
“Starring the incomparable Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Edie Falco (The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie), this new eight-episode true-crime installment of the powerhouse Law & Orderย franchise delivers a gripping in-depth dramatization of the notorious murder case that changed America forever. When the Menendez brothers were tried on national TV for brutally killing their parents in Beverly Hills, their story became a national obsession. Now, the first edition of this anthology series delves into the players, the crime and the media circus, detailing the day-to-day battles of the trial and unveiling the shocking truth of what really went down when the cameras stopped rolling.
