The curvy model recently posted a series of videos to her Instagram page demonstrating just how fierce “plus sized” can be.These videos show Graham kickboxing, weight lifting and slaying rigorous workout routines.
In a historic decision by Sports Illustrated to release three separate covers to their coveted Swimsuit Edition, Graham was among the trio chosen to dawn the iconic cover.Although grateful for the honor Graham tells E! News she hates the term “plus sized.”
“I’ve got plenty of friends [of all sizes] and different shapes and everything,” she says “And I don’t want any of them to feel like they aren’t ‘real women.”
She adds “for someone like me, I don’t feel the connection to the word.”
Former model Cheryl Tiegs, 68, criticized Sports Illustrated for their choice to use a plus size model on its cover.
Tiegs told E!News “I don’t think it’s healthy. Her face is beautiful. Beautiful. But I don’t think it’s healthy in the long run.”
