Controversial Breastfeeding Mom Tries to Explain Why She No Longer Wears Underwear
The mom who says she’s had sex while breastfeeding is back for another controversial talk.Tasha [...]
Breastfeeding during sex:
The 'Spiritual Breastfeeding Mama' went viral after her video "Do I Have Sex While Breastfeeding?" drew major attention.
"We are pleasure beings, we are meant to enjoy sex and pleasure and all things can be orgasmic," Maile stated in the video. "I've had a lot people ask me if it's okay to breastfeed and have sex. From what I remember, I remember sleeping with my ex-husband and my son was on me breastfeeding and we would have sex from behind or something."
The mom of three added: "There's nothing bad about making love at all, ever."
As expected, critics called the vlogger's story inappropriate and accused her of incest.
Maile responded with a follow-up video in May, saying, "My 3-month-old would not allow me to put him down at all. So he was attached to me 24/7. And he was always using me as a binky at night," Maile said. "So we did it while he was sleeping next to me or on me. It had nothing to do with my child. My child was not in the act of what we were doing."

Once Maile's breastfeeding during sex video gained traction, critics slammed another one of the controversial mom's videos in which she breastfed 3-year-old son Josiah. In the three-minute video called "Implants and Breastfeeding My Toddler", the mom and son talk to followers candidly about feeding and her breasts.
But toward the end of the video, Josiah says: "It's good to breastfeed and kiss."
"Breastfeed and kiss? What do you mean?" Maile replies.
The little boy says: "Yesterday you were pretending you were my girlfriend and you were my boyfriend — I'm, I'm your boyfriend — and I kissed you."
Maile only response is "That is so cute," before ending the video.
Some of the video's 4.7 million viewers called the mom "sick" as a result of this awkward exchange.
"did youre [sic] son say that you pretended to be his girlfriend i need answers," one commenter wrote.
Another asked, "Wait did he say they were pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend and kissed?" Someone replied, "Yes that what I heard and that's why she stopped recording" and another woman responded: "very sick".
Another went so far as to say the mom "has psychological issues and is looking for attention".
prevnextMaile's responses:
After finding online fame with her controversial practices, Maile shared a video on Instagram to address the hate she'd been receiving.
On July 18, she breastfed two of her children while saying, "Let's talk about why [breastfeeding] makes you feel uncomfortable and why it makes you feel okay to belittle me or to put me down as a human or that I am any less human than you are just because you feel uncomfortable with this, with breastfeeding," Maile said while speaking to the camera, her baby on one breast and her toddler on the other.
"Does it make it okay to belittle somebody because you are uncomfortable?" she continued.
In response to this video, many praised the mom's candidness and efforts to 'normalize' breastfeeding, but others were still shaken up by her thoughts and actions.
"There is NOTHING good/natural/beautiful about incorporating your own children (any children) into sexual activity," one critic wrote. "Stop acting like the outrage is over the fact that you breastfeed!!!… Women have tried so hard to de-sexualize breastfeeding and you have set the entire movement back by sexualizing breastfeeding to the EXTREME. And you are using your own children in the process, all for a buck..."
prevnextMaile's other 'job':
In what she said to be an effort to put the controversy to bed, Maile wrote a post for Romper titled "I'm the Mom Who Breastfed During Sex & Here's What You Get Wrong About Me". But in the story, the mom stole some of her own spotlight by admitting that she sells adult videos, specializing in lactation fetishes.
Over the last six months, she says she's been making solo videos and custom content on the site ClipsForSale. She charges anywhere from $30 to $200 or $400, depending on the watcher's wants.
"I also do pumping videos [for lactation fetishists, or people who have a fetish for breastfeeding women]," she said. "I don't think it sexualizes breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is the actual physical act of breastfeeding. Lactation is a different thing. It's a fetish, and partners play around that topic and area without children."
For those quick to criticize, Maile assures readers that her children are never in the room during the filming of these adult videos and they are not involved in the sessions. This 'business venture' only calls for Maile to pump or produce milk on camera.
"They're your breasts. They can be sexual," she continued. "They can be used during sexual play. I have nothing against that. It's human nature. I think it's beautiful."
Also in the post, Maile again tried to explain her reasoning for breastfeeding during sex.
"It was one of those things that kind of just happened and it worked," she said. "But there was absolutely zero sexual energy toward the baby, who was sleeping."
She added, "From the other emails I've gotten, it seems like that's the position that's most common [among couples who breastfeed during sex]: gently from behind." Here's to attempting to 'normalize' sex with a child latched to your breast.
