After leaving his job at the restaurant, a man named Nick took to Twitter to show off just how disgusting the place can be behind the scenes. He started a social media frenzy when he posted a horrifying photo from the soft serve ice cream machine.

Again, just a warning, these photos are not for the faint of heart. You may think twice about visiting McD’s for a flurry on your way home from work.

The Ice Cream Machine

The photo that started it all was a snapshot of the disturbing remnants of a McDonald’s ice cream machine.

As you can see, there are all kinds of things growing and festering inside the contraption. That’s all coming from the same place as everyone’s favorite frozen treats.

After Nick posted the photo, other users began making jokes about McDonald’s ice cream, saying that this nasty stuff must be the reason the ice cream machine is always out of order.

In a twisted revelation, Nick told people that the machines worked just fine with that inside it.

Unfortunately, Nick didn’t stop at ice cream.

More Dirt and Grime

As if the sludge from the ice cream machine wasn’t bad enough, Nick shared some photos of other dirty areas in the kitchen.

The grease trap depicted here is far from clean, and it’s terrifying to think that the things we all eat come from a grill that’s kept in that condition.

Nick also showed some images of the dirt and grime that cover the floor of that particular establishment, proving that nowhere is exactly clean.

Of course, after all the dirty photos, the former employee had to share one about the things people actually eat.

Frozen Foods

We all know that McDonald’s doesn’t serve the freshest or healthiest foods. However, one of the photos shared by Nick makes it look worse than we wanted to believe.

The tweet contained images of hamburgers, chicken patties, nuggets, and what appears to be fish fillets, all before they’ve been cooked. This is what the food looks like when it comes out of the freezer.

The images of the food are among the least horrifying of Nick’s collection, but they do make you question what you put in your body when you visit a McDonald’s. Some of this food actually looks like plastic.

While many people may have suspected that there are some McDonald’s restaurants that don’t hold quality to the highest standard, these photos confirm it.
