McDonald's Adds New Burger and McFlurry to the Menu

The new Philly Cheese Stack and M&M's Halloween McFlurry are now available at participating McDonald's locations in the UK.

McDonald's is giving guests two more reasons to be Mc'Lovin it. The beloved fast food restaurant chain has updated its menu with two all-new additions, including one some have dubbed "the best I've ever had," officially rolling out the new Philly Cheese Stack and the new M&M's Halloween McFlurry in the UK.

A twist on an iconic American sandwich, the Philly Cheese Stack features not one, but two succulent beef patties, which are topped with a cheese sauce, two cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions, and pickles. All of those mouth-watering ingredients are served in a toasted bun. The new M&M's Halloween McFlurry boasts soft dairy ice cream swirled with M&M's and Halloween sugar shapes. It is topped with Galaxy chocolate sauce. According to Chew Boom, both new menu items are available at participating locations across the UK for a limited time.

The two new menu items are proving to be fan-favorites, with guests showing a particular liking for the Philly Cheese Stack. On X (formerly Twitter), the Philly Cheese Stack has been lauded as the "best McDonald's burger." One person wrote that the menu item is "the best limited edition burger McDonald's have ever done," with somebody else adding that the burger is "f-ing unreal." Several people have also begun to call on McDonald's to make the burger a permanent menu item, with one person writing, "the Philly Cheese Stack is the best limited edition burger they've done. It's worthy of being a permanent addition to the menu. In fact I dare say it's one of the best Maccies burgers I've ever had."

The Philly Cheese Stack and the M&M's Halloween McFlurry are just two of several new items on the McDonald's menu in the UK. According to Metro, in recent months, the chain has added everything from limited-time menu items like the Chicken McNugget meal, McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, Chilli Cheese Bites, Twix Toffee Apple McFlurry, Toffee Apple Pie, Toffee Apple Donut, and Caramel Waffle Latte to permanent items including the McSpicy and the Double McPlant.

Unfortunately, anyone in the U.S. hoping to try the new Philly Cheese Stack and the M&M's Halloween McFlurry, as well as the other recently introduced items, will have to get their passport and a plane ticket and travel across the pond. The two new menu items are currently available at participating McDonald's locations in the UK for a limited time.
