One bride got a very special surprise on her wedding day when she met the donor who had received her late son’s heart.
A post on Love What Matters‘ Facebook page revealed a special story of bride Beckey Turney, who received a special surprise courtesy when her groom, Kelly Turney, added honorary groomsman Jacob Kilby to their wedding party.

Kilby had received Beckey’s late son Triston’s heart after the 19-year-old passed away in 2015, and Beckey’s wedding day marked the first time she met Kilby.

Kelly had organized the surprise as a way to have Triston be a part of the wedding, and the emotional photos make it clear that Beckey was blown away.
She shared her feelings about the surprise on Facebook, writing, “Jacob…. hands down the best gift … most amazing surprise ever!! Thank you for caring for Triston’s heart. Thank you for being here! Thank you thank you thank you!”
