One Mom Admitted to Using Breast Milk in Bake Sale Brownies and the Internet Is Freaking Out

Moms on Facebook are poking fun at another mom who supposedly used her own breast milk in a brownies recipe for a school bake sale after she ran out of cow's milk.

The Facebook page Sanctimommy shared a screenshot of a post from what appears to be a mom's Facebook page, but with her name and identifying information blacked out.

In the post, the mom says that she didn't think it would be big deal if she used her own breast milk in the recipe.

"I didn't have time to run to the store and didn't think it was a big deal," she wrote. "Some of those kids could use the nutrition, let's be honest. And it wasn't even that much."

The mom continued, writing that "one of the other moms found out and [is] blowing it way out of proportion." She then asks for advice on what to do next.

The post sharing the screenshot is getting an intense reaction online, with over 1,000 comments and shares. Take a look at some of the other moms' hilarious comments:

Because the original poster's name is blacked out, the legitimacy of the post is unclear (Plus, not many brownie recipes call for milk.).

And just for the record, disguising your own breast milk as cow's milk (or anything else, for that matter), isn't cool. According to the CDC, HIV and other serious infections can be passed along through breast milk, (as can prescription and illegal drugs, by the way), so it's understandable why parents would be outraged at the thought of their child consuming a stranger's breast milk.
