Over the weekend, some of the original stars of Baywatch got together to celebrate the release of the upcoming theatrical adaptation of the ’90s beach drama. One of the show’s biggest stars, Pamela Anderson, wasn’t in attendance, but opted to show off some of her mot sizzling looks from earlier in her career on social media.
Anderson was one of the definitive cast members on the show, with her curvaceous figure and skimpy swimsuit setting the standard for what other actresses on the show attempted to achieve.

Starring in Baywatch was only one of many of Anderson’s biggest achievements in the ’90s, causing her to be one of the biggest names in the world of Hollywood of the entire decade.

Canadian-born Anderson got her start in the modeling career almost completely accidentally, as she was merely attending a Canadian football game and wore a shirt for Labatt’s Beer. When the image of her in the t-shirt made its way to the stadium’s Jumbotron, the beer company reached out to her about becoming a spokesperson. Her boyfriend at the time even printed posters of the image.
Her time with Labatt’s Beer was so successful that she landed the cover spot for Playboy in the fall of ’89.
Only a few months later, Anderson was once again featured in Playboy, but this time she was chosen as the Playmate of the Month.
Even though she was already a successful model, Anderson opted to have breast augmentation surgery to increase her size to 34D, with a few years later, undergoing more surgery to go up to 34DD.
Anderson was able to transition her success in the modeling world into her first acting role, playing Lisa, the “Tool Time” girl in the hit sitcom Home Improvement. She starred on the show for two years, but it was her following role as C.J. Parker in Baywatch that made her a household name.
After her five-year run on the popular show, the actress used her fame to transition to the big screen, starring in the ’96 sci-fi action film Barb Wire.
Sadly, another one of the most famous things Anderson was attached to in the ’90s that added to her level of fame was a series of stolen home videos featuring her then-partners in intimate situations.
First, she was seen in sexual situations in home videos of herself and Bret Michaels, singer of the hit ’80s rock group Poison. After that relationship ended, she married Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, with a sex tape featuring the couple also being broadcast for all to see.
Considering she was one of the most famous actresses at the time, the release of the sex tape was an enormous scandal that dominated headlines and shot her level of fame into the stratosphere.
Throughout her entire career, Anderson has been incredibly active with PETA and other charities that support the humane treatment of animals. One of the organization’s most famous campaigns featured Anderson in the buff, claiming she’d rather go naked than wear fur.
These days, Anderson might not take as many roles in films or TV shows, but she continues to be an incredibly busy activist and regularly participates in photo shoots.
In 2016, when Playboy decided to stop featuring nude models in their pages, Anderson was featured as the final cover girl to pose nude, over 25 years after her first appearance. The magazine has since featured nude models, realizing it was a key facet of their business model.
As well known for her acting roles as her relationships, Anderson has recently been rumored to date Julian Assange, the controversial founder of WikiLeaks, but has yet to confirm their relationship is anything more than friendly.
