Mia Farrow’s son Thaddeus died Wednesday and now the actress is speaking out about the 27-year-old’s tragic death on Twitter, E! News reports.
“We’re devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother. He was wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life. We miss him. Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and words of kindness,” she continued.

Farrow also included a link to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, writing, “If you or someone you love needs help or if you want to support a group doing life saving work, please visit: https://afsp.org/.”
According to a police report, Thaddeus was discovered suffering from a life-threatening injury inside his vehicle along the road in Connecticut. He was transported to Danbury Hospital via ambulance, where he died from his injuries at 2:30 p.m.
The medical examiner’s office confirmed the cause of death was suicide by a gunshot wound to the torso.
Farrow adopted Thaddeus from India back in 1994, one of ten children she adopted over the years.
