In case you hadn’t heard, Kim Kardashian is back on Instagram. Three months to the day from her Paris robbery, the reality star has started to rebuild her social media empire. And, based on the analytics of her social media accounts, it seems that it is building back up pretty quickly – she posted some really impressive numbers! But, there is clearly something different about her latest posts.
Unlike the countless photos that Kardashian has posted over the years, her latest photos not only look different, but they also feel much different. In the past, Kardashian became known as the “selfie queen.” she would always post photos of herself, her face at different angles, lips pouted and so on. But, in her new photos, her face is barely seen.

The first photo that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted as a simply photo of her family gathered together outside. She even captioned it, “Family.” But, the only person looking at the camera was little Saint. What’s more, the photos are blurry with an intense vintage vibe about them. That same theme continues through her first, and only six-post hiatus Instagram photos.
Actually, the vintage feel of the photos is so prominent it’s hard to tell that the family is the same high profile, high fashion, wealthy family that they have flaunted in the past. A photo of Kanye in the kitchen looks as if the Kardashian isn’t just adjusting the filter, but that the family is actually staying in an old, outdated home.
Kardashian had been notorious for flashing her wealth in her photos in the past. Actually, she blames some of her Instagram photos for her Paris robbery. So, perhaps this new vintage and family oriented feel to her social media account is a sign that she has realized that focusing on her material items and her looks aren’t what’s important. Perhaps she is realizing that her family is what really counts.
