
Police have confirmed that their was no active shooter at the John F. Kennedy International Airport Sunday night. Hundreds of fliers can be seen hitting the floor and running as a loud bang is heard. A police officer is then seen clearing the terminal armed and in S.W.A.T. gear.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey released this statement saying that no evidence was found to support any reports of a shooter.

Officials are still trying to nail down the details of what they think is a hoax – a hoax that sent a massive wave of panic through Terminal 8 as people abandoned their bags and took off running.
Along with the Port Authority police, the New York Police Department had its Hercules Strike teams, Critical Response Command, Strategic Response Group, Emergency Service Unit and patrol policemen at the airport, according to New York law enforcement officials.
